Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Mobile, AL. This role offers an opportunity to join a multi-state creditor law firm, providing exposure to a wide range of creditor and financial-services matters across the Southeast.

Duties

• Handle creditor litigation and commercial litigation.
• Manage debt collection and judgment enforcement.
• Oversee mortgage foreclosure and title curative matters.
• Address auto finance and vehicle recovery issues.
• Represent creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
• Provide general representation for lenders, servicers, and financial institutions.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Approximately 5 years of legal experience; preference for experience in creditor-rights, litigation, collections, foreclosure, bankruptcy, real estate, or financial services.
• Active license in at least one state in the Southeast; additional state licenses are advantageous.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a substantial caseload and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Professional judgment and a client-service mindset.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license in at least one state in the Southeast.
