A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate / Senior Associate with expertise in investment management, private funds, and family offices to join their team in Parsippany, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in representing investment managers and sponsors in the formation and operation of various private funds.

Duties

• Represent investment managers in forming and operating private funds.
• Draft and negotiate investment management and fund-related documents.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Prepare and review private placement memoranda and related agreements.
• Represent family offices in structuring and documenting investments.
• Negotiate and document executive employment agreements.
• Manage sophisticated matters and supervise junior attorneys.

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of experience in relevant fields.
• Substantial experience in drafting and negotiating complex documents.
• Ability to manage client relationships independently.
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys.
• Strong communication and client-service skills.
• Bar admission in good standing in the practicing jurisdiction.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
