WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We need an attorney who is willing to serve business owners and individuals with different matters including breach of contract cases, real estate disputes, corporate divorces, construction claims, UCC claims, DTPA claims, among others. We are growing, and we need talent that can work hard to represent clients well, that means we need you to go to court and start taking ownership cases from the start. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with the Owners, senior partners, associates, and paralegals in an effort to effectively serve clients. If you have excellent research and writing skills, can argue well in writing or orally, easily use today’s technology, and want to obtain court experience faster, we would love to have you!  

WHAT ARE THE METRICS: Minimum billables: 1,680 hrs per year.  Bonuses after 90 days, every pay cycle, if you qualify based on the additional hours you log over 1,680.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Finalize and customize documents through technology as efficiently as possible.

• Have 7+ years’ experience in Commercial Litigation, Corporate work, Real Estate Litigation, and Business Disputes.

• Have Jury Trial Experience, second chair is acceptable.

• You should be a self-starter, a quick learner, and have a solid ability to work both independently and with a team.

• Creative problem-solving, flexibility, and an ability to prioritize are important.

• Have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Have solid computer and time management skills.

• Demonstrate a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity in the handling of personal client information, including following the Rules of Professional Conduct.

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic with high standards for quality of work.

• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceeding
• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions}
• Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks
• Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
• Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
