Duties

• Collaborate with lead attorneys on all phases of litigation, including rapid response investigations, case evaluation, and reporting.
• Prepare pleadings, conduct discovery, and take or defend depositions, with trial preparation experience valued.
• Manage a wide spectrum of matters for domestic and international insurance carriers and private clients.
• Apply strategic thinking to meet client objectives across various practice areas.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in California; no exceptions.
• Excellent research and writing skills are required.
• Experience in insurance defense litigation is preferred.
• General familiarity with carrier billing and reporting guidelines is desired.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California State Bar membership.

Skills

• Strong ability to prepare for trial and/or prior trial experience.
• Proficiency in handling products liability, general liability, mass and toxic torts, commercial litigation, construction, employment, professional liability, and agribusiness matters.
• Ability to work collaboratively across offices and practice areas.
