A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney in Madison, New Jersey, to join a collaborative team representing sophisticated clients in complex legal matters. Duties

• Independently manage a full lifecycle litigation caseload, handling matters from initial intake through resolution.



• Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on complex legal projects and strategic case development.



• Conduct regular court appearances, depositions, and other procedural hearings as required.



• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing timely status updates and legal advice.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey.



• Minimum of two years of experience in insurance defense litigation, including general liability, personal injury, professional liability, or construction defense.



• Strong foundation in motion practice, report writing, discovery processes, and deposition preparation.



• Experience with trial preparation and trial advocacy is highly desirable.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in New Jersey; admission in New York is a plus.
