Duties

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including negotiations, mediations, court conferences, hearings, trials, and appeals.



• Conduct legal research and analysis, providing strategic advice and drafting documents such as motions, affidavits, briefs, and decrees.



• Manage a high volume of cases, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.



• Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed of their rights and options, and collaborate with the legal team to support firm goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience representing clients in family law matters.



• Experience handling dissolution of marriage, orders for protection, custody and parenting time, child support, prenuptial agreements, and appeals.



• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle a caseload immediately upon starting.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be duly licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota.

Skills

• Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis.



• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
