Duties

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications for clients in complex technical fields.


• Provide strategic counsel on intellectual property matters, including standards-essential patents.


• Engage in post-grant proceedings and support client counseling initiatives.


• Collaborate with a team-oriented group to deliver innovative legal solutions.


 

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.


• Experience in wireless telecommunications, communication networks, or electrical hardware/software preferred.


• Background in computer networks, semiconductors, storage devices, or cloud computing desired.


• Experience with mechanical inventions, medical devices, or digital health is a plus.


• Strong academic record with a technical degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent.


 

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.


• Technical degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, or equivalent field.


 

Certifications

• Active registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
