A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Estate Planning Practice Group in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, providing exceptional legal services and guiding clients through complex estate and succession planning matters.

Duties

• Manage assigned cases from start to finish, developing strategies for successful outcomes.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide informed advice.
• Draft, review, and finalize legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding case progress and next steps.
• Represent clients effectively in negotiations to achieve favorable resolutions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues across practice areas.
• Uphold professional conduct and adhere to state bar requirements and firm policies.
• Assist in financial management of cases, including setting retainers and managing payments.
• Stay current with legal developments and complete required Continuing Legal Education (CLE).

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar or eligibility to waive in.
• 3-5 years of experience in estates and trusts practice, including estate planning and administration.
• Experience drafting estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Litigation experience in trust, estate, fiduciary, or Orphans' Court matters is a plus.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to exceptional client service and building long-term relationships.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar
