Duties

• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports on proceedings.



• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary while maintaining client communication.



• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina or have pending South Carolina bar exam results.



• 4-5 years of practice experience, with prior insurance defense experience preferred.



• Willingness to work autonomously and within a team structure in a fast-paced environment.



• Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and keen attention to detail.



• Initiative and the ability to multitask effectively while embracing AI to innovate legal work.

Education

• Juris Doctorate or better degree required.

Certifications

• Active South Carolina Bar license or pending bar exam results.
