A law firm seeks an associate with 3-7 years of experience to join its growing Healthcare Practice Group in Philadelphia, PA. The firm represents preeminent hospitals, health systems, and healthcare institutions across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, handling high-stakes, high-risk cases.

Duties

• Handle complex medical malpractice litigation involving catastrophic injuries and losses.



• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative assistants in a team-based approach to meet client needs.



• Engage in extensive client contact and participate in trial advocacy programs and courtroom opportunities.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Bar admission is required.



• Experience in healthcare or medical malpractice litigation is preferred.



• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.

Skills

• Strong background in defense trial bar and medical malpractice space.



• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.



• Ability to manage high-stakes, high-risk legal matters.
