A law firm seeks a Technology Transactions Associate with four to five years of experience to join their team in Wheeling, WV. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned advisors, supporting life sciences and tech companies in developing IP strategies and facilitating key agreements.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate collaboration, partnering, licensing, and other commercial agreements.
• Provide expert guidance on product strategy, development, and market positioning for technology companies.
• Advise clients on corporate partnerships, strategic alliances, and licensing agreements.
• Assist with IP and technology aspects of complex M&A transactions, public offerings, and venture capital financings.
• Conduct research and analysis on diverse technologies, including AI, fintech, and biotechnology.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of legal experience in IP and technology transactions.
• Strong interest in technology transactions for M&A matters and emerging company clients.
• Excellent research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• JD is required.
