A law firm seeks a Real Estate Attorney with over five years of experience to join their Minneapolis, MN office. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in transactional real estate, particularly in negotiating and drafting complex commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, and managing real estate due diligence.

Duties

• Negotiate and draft complex commercial leases for landlords and tenants.
• Draft purchase and sale agreements and related documents for commercial real estate transactions.
• Manage real estate due diligence for sales, purchases, and financing transactions.
• Represent developers in drafting agreements for real estate developments.
• Represent borrowers in mortgage loan transactions.
• Manage the closing of real estate sale, purchase, and financing transactions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of transactional real estate experience.
• Proven ability to handle core real estate transactional tasks independently.
• Significant experience with complex commercial lease negotiations.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
• Strong academic background.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School.

Certifications

• Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Ability to promptly get admitted in the state of Minnesota.
