Duties

• Review and assess the merits of personal injury claims by analyzing records, documents, and evidence to determine validity and potential value.



• Represent clients in personal injury matters, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials, while preparing and filing necessary legal documents.



• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to protect client rights, conducting research, analyzing medical records, and negotiating with insurance companies.



• Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates, explaining legal processes, and advising them on their rights and options.



• Collaborate with medical and vocational experts to evaluate the extent of injuries, their impact on work ability, and appropriate compensation levels.



• Handle disputed or denied claims through litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy.



• Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, coordinate with medical providers and experts, and oversee related legal and administrative tasks.



• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, or outcomes by challenging existing playbooks and implementing creative solutions.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.



• Active admission to the Arizona Bar.



• 5 to 10 years of experience in personal injury law.



• Strong written and verbal communication skills.



• Ability to manage a robust caseload independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.



• Knowledge of Arizona laws, regulations, and procedures.



• Must be located in or near the State of Arizona.



• Ability to think critically, prioritize effectively, and execute with speed.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active admission to the Arizona Bar.



• Active admission to one or more districts of Arizona Federal Court (preferred).

Skills

• Strong communication, negotiation, research, and writing skills.



• Experience in a fast-growing or high-volume environment (preferred).



• Comfort with ambiguity and evolving systems (preferred).



• Experience in legal, professional services, or client-centric organizations (preferred).
