Job Overview

Duties

• Conduct virtual client meetings to gather information, clarify goals, and present tailored estate planning strategies.



• Draft and review complex estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related instruments.



• Lead sophisticated client and financial advisor meetings with professionalism, clarity, and confidence.



• Collaborate with financial advisors, internal team members, and an of-counsel network across all 50 states.



• Advise clients on asset titling, beneficiary designations, and trust funding while staying current on federal and state tax laws.



• Build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors and their leadership teams.



• Respond to client and advisor inquiries promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.



• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with at least one state bar.



• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in estate and trust planning.



• At least 3 years of advanced estate planning experience.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of estate planning, high-net-worth planning, and trust funding.



• Excellent client-facing skills, including the ability to explain complex planning concepts clearly.



• Strong organizational, time-management, analytical, drafting, and writing skills.



• Comfort working in a technology-enabled legal practice.
