A law firm seeks a Professional Liability Litigation Attorney to join its Litigation Team in Atlanta, GA. Duties

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations, while identifying pleading requirements.



• Prepare discovery responses, manage document production, and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.



• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports and maintaining regular communication with support staff.



• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary, ensuring direct client contact and management.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia or have pending Georgia bar exam results.



• 1-5 years of practice experience in Professional Liability or insurance defense is preferred.



• Willingness to work autonomously and within a team structure, with a mindset geared toward embracing AI to innovate legal work.



• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctorate or better.

Certifications

• Active bar license in Georgia.
