Duties

• Obtain positive resolutions for clients, such as confirmation, discharge, or settlement.
• Research and develop new strategies to counter well-funded adversaries.
• Create and manage bankruptcy or litigation plans for multiple clients.
• Negotiate with opposing counsels and represent clients in court.
• Handle motions, discovery, depositions, and hearings.
• Document activity and progress in case management and billing systems.

Requirements

• Licensed Texas Attorney in good standing.
• Ability to prioritize cases and clients effectively.
• Proficiency in all phases of small business bankruptcy and litigation.
• Strong research, drafting, and oral argument skills.
• Enjoyment in representing clients in court and negotiating positive outcomes.
• High attention to detail and a collaborative attitude.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
