A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Counsel with 6+ years of plaintiff-side litigation defense experience to join its Los Angeles, California team. Duties

• Handle routine and increasingly complex labor and employment litigation matters with minimal supervision.



• Collaborate with senior attorneys on challenging cases involving wage and hour laws, terminations, and workplace violence prevention.



• Review, update, and maintain employee handbooks, standalone employment policies, and agreements.



• Develop practical solutions to complex legal problems while maintaining intellectual curiosity and analytical rigor.

Requirements

• 6+ years of plaintiff-side labor and employment litigation defense experience.



• Experience with wage and hour laws, terminations, layoffs, workplace violence prevention, and internal investigation procedures.



• Knowledge of developments in California labor and employment law.



• Top law firm experience with a proven track record of professional excellence.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be licensed and admitted to practice in the State of California.
