A law firm seeks a midlevel associate with over four years of relevant experience to join its Public Company Advisory group within the Capital Markets practice in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in advising public companies on securities law compliance, disclosure, and corporate governance matters. This role involves independently managing day-to-day securities law counseling and SEC reporting for a diverse client base ranging from Fortune 500 companies to emerging growth entities.

Duties

• Independently manage day-to-day securities law counseling, SEC reporting, and corporate governance matters for a growing public company client base.



• Advise clients across diverse industries, including technology, healthcare, real estate, and consumer services, on compliance and disclosure requirements.



• Collaborate closely with members of the Public Company Advisory group to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Requirements

• More than four years of prior relevant experience in securities law, public company compliance, or corporate governance.



• Deep understanding of securities laws and direct experience in public company regulatory matters.



• Strong academic credentials and exceptional written, interpersonal, and communication skills.



• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a busy and growing practice group.

Education

• Law degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills

• Expertise in SEC reporting and public company disclosure obligations.



• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple complex matters simultaneously.



• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $310,000 - $365,000 based on experience and qualifications.
