A law firm seeks a Trusts and Estates Staff Attorney to join their Estate Planning Practice Group in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The successful candidate will work with a team of experienced attorneys and paralegals, advising clients on complex estate planning, trust administration, and probate litigation.

Duties

• Assist with the preparation of estate planning documents.
• Support the estate settlement process.
• Prepare fiduciary accountings.
• Manage and assemble estate planning forms.

Requirements

• Prior experience in estate planning is strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Experience with document automation software, such as HotDocs.
• Entry-level coding or scripting experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
