A law firm seeks an experienced Medical Malpractice and Birth Injury Attorney in Philadelphia, PA. This full-time, primarily remote position offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned litigator to advocate for injured patients and families, with occasional in-person appearances required for select trials, depositions, and hearings.
Duties
- Manage a caseload of medical malpractice and birth injury matters from initial investigation through resolution.
- Conduct and defend depositions, including experts and medical personnel.
- Draft persuasive motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
- Collaborate with medical experts to develop case strategies.
- Participate in mediations, hearings, and trials (in-person appearances as needed).
- Efficiently use technology for case management, research, and litigation workflows.
- Opportunity to market, network, and build your practice within the firm.
Requirements
- Active bar license in at least one U.S. state is required.
- 10+ years of experience in medical malpractice litigation (birth injury experience strongly preferred).
- Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.
- Strong deposition experience and ability to handle complex medical issues.
- Tech-proficient across case management tools, digital research, and litigation technology.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in business development.

- Doctor of Law
