A law firm seeks a mid-to-senior level Insurance Fraud Litigation Attorney to join their New York, NY office. The role involves handling sophisticated insurance fraud litigation matters and contributing to case strategy and management.

Duties

• Handle complex insurance fraud litigation in Federal and State courts.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including motions to dismiss and for summary judgment.
• Conduct and defend depositions, and manage litigation strategy and case development.
• Conduct detailed legal research and prepare high-quality written work.
• Collaborate on forensic investigations involving insurance fraud and bad faith claims.
• Represent clients in fraudulent claims and insurance coverage disputes.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar and the United States District Courts for the EDNY and SDNY.
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance fraud or RICO-related matters.
• Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Experience in civil litigation within a law firm setting.
• Strong litigation experience and ability to be a proactive team player.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Admission to the United States District Courts for the EDNY and SDNY.
