A law firm seeks a skilled and experienced bilingual Immigration Attorney to join their legal team in Woodbridge, Virginia. This full-time, in-person role offers the opportunity to provide impactful legal services in a supportive environment.

Duties

• Manage multiple cases and provide legal representation to immigrants facing removal proceedings.
• Meet with clients, advise on eligibility for relief under immigration laws, and prepare applications for filing.
• Represent clients before various government agencies.
• Be open to working in other areas of law as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in immigration law.
• Active Bar License in good standing from any US state (VA/MD Bar highly desired).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Knowledge of immigration law and court procedures.
• Experience in immigration bond hearings, removal defense, and business immigration.
• Positive, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to travel to detention centers if necessary.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar License in good standing.

Skills

• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
