A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Energy & Infrastructure team within the Project Finance group in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the energy sector, particularly in project finance and M&A deals.

Duties

• Support project finance and M&A transactions in the energy sector.
• Conduct due diligence and review credit agreements and legal opinions.
• Engage in matters before FERC.
• Work on renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage.
• Participate in transactions involving power generation and transmission.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• Substantial practice experience before FERC.
• Direct experience with credit agreements and legal opinions.
• Admitted to the state bar of the preferred office location.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• State Bar admission.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
