Duties

• Advise clients on transactional and regulatory matters related to renewable energy projects and data infrastructure development.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including power purchase agreements and development agreements.
• Conduct legal research on energy regulation, land use, and compliance issues.
• Support due diligence processes for energy and infrastructure transactions.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting the renewable energy and tech infrastructure sectors.
• Communicate directly with clients to provide legal guidance and project updates.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar (or eligibility for admission).
• Experience in energy law, infrastructure transactions, or related practice areas.
• Familiarity with renewable energy project development or data center operations preferred.
• Strong transactional drafting and contract negotiation skills.
• Excellent legal research and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a collaborative, client-focused mindset.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications
