A law firm seeks a junior-level attorney with two to three years of law firm experience in labor and employment litigation to join its Los Angeles, CA team. This full-time, partnership-track position requires strong analytical, research, and writing skills, along with active California bar membership. The ideal candidate will be based in the Los Angeles metro area and possess experience in single plaintiff discrimination or class action/PAGA matters.

Duties

• Handle labor and employment litigation matters, including taking and defending depositions.



• Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel to resolve disputes efficiently.



• Argue motions in court and manage case strategy from inception through resolution.



• Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality legal memoranda and briefs.

Requirements

• Active California bar membership is required.



• Two to three years of law firm experience in labor and employment litigation.



• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills demonstrated through prior work.



• Must be based in the Los Angeles metro area.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of California.

Skills

• Experience with single plaintiff discrimination and class action/PAGA litigation is strongly preferred.



• Traditional labor experience is considered a plus.



• Ability to manage depositions, negotiations, and court arguments effectively.



• Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with clients and opposing counsel.
