Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate / Senior Associate with a minimum of six years of experience in investment management, private funds, and related corporate transactions to join their team in Boca Raton, Florida. The candidate will work on sophisticated legal matters, representing investment managers and sponsors in the formation and operation of various private funds.

Duties

• Represent investment managers in forming and operating private funds.
• Draft and negotiate investment management and fund-related documents.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Prepare and review private placement memoranda and related agreements.
• Represent family offices in structuring and documenting investments.
• Negotiate and document executive employment agreements.
• Manage multiple workstreams and supervise junior attorneys.

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of experience in relevant legal areas.
• Substantial experience with fund and corporate transactional documents.
• Ability to manage client relationships independently.
• Experience supervising junior attorneys.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bar admission in good standing in the practicing jurisdiction.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
