Duties

• Prepare and file documents with courts
• Communicate directly with clients
• Draft and prepare pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Appear in court and attend depositions and mediations
• Manage a full caseload and meet deadlines
• Supervise legal assistants and paralegals

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing with the Oregon State Bar Association
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation attorney
• Exceptional communication skills
• Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw
• Self-driven with the ability to manage own caseload
