A law firm seeks a mid-senior level corporate associate with four to six years of experience for their Capital Markets and Public Companies group in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have experience advising public companies or investment banks on SEC compliance, disclosure, governance, and exchange matters.

Duties

• Advise public companies on SEC compliance and governance.
• Represent issuers or investment banks in capital market transactions.
• Engage in IPOs, SPACs, direct listings, and follow-on offerings.

Requirements

• Four to six years of relevant experience.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Barred in the state of the office location or eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with technology and/or life sciences companies preferred.
