A law firm seeks a midlevel associate with over four years of relevant experience to join its Public Company Advisory group within the Capital Markets practice in Newport Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience advising public companies on securities law compliance, disclosure, and corporate governance matters.

Duties

• Independently manage day-to-day securities law counseling, SEC reporting, and corporate governance matters for a diverse public company client base.


• Collaborate closely with other members of the Public Company Advisory group to support clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to emerging growth entities.


• Advise clients across various industries, including technology, healthcare, real estate, and consumer services, on regulatory compliance and governance.

Requirements

• More than four years of prior relevant experience in securities law, public company compliance, or corporate governance.


• Deep understanding of securities laws and direct experience in public company compliance and governance matters.


• Strong academic credentials and exceptional written, interpersonal, and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a busy and growing practice group.

• Admission to the California State Bar.
