Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Real Estate Finance Practice Group in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have two to six years of experience in real estate finance, with a strong academic background and excellent writing and communication skills.

Duties

• Manage loan origination for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Handle mezzanine loans and preferred equity transactions.
• Oversee asset management and workout processes.
• Conduct transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.
• Engage in secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.

Requirements

• Two to six years of broad real estate finance experience.
• Experience in large law firm settings preferred.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter effectively.
• Team-oriented with ambition and drive to support national practice growth.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice required.
