Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Projects Associate to join its team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience in domestic and international business transactions, particularly in the energy sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects involving renewable energy and power generation technologies.

• Advise clients on energy transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and project development.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents.
• Conduct due diligence for M&A deals, including legal research.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in various specialty areas.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in relevant laws.
• Assist on other legal matters concerning project development and M&A as needed.

• Experience with clients in the renewable energy market is helpful.
• Law firm mergers & acquisitions or project finance experience preferred.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

• Strong focus on domestic and international business transactions.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
