Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate for its Global Finance Group in Washington, D.C. The successful candidate will join a dynamic practice representing financial institutions, alternative lenders, and investment vehicles on diverse fund finance products and derivatives transactions.

Duties

• Represent clients on a wide range of fund finance products and derivatives transactions across various asset classes.
• Effectively manage client relationships and move transactions forward independently.
• Participate in the strategic growth of the practice area.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund finance.
• Admitted or eligible for admission to the Washington, D.C. bar.
• Ability to work independently and manage client relationships effectively.

Education

• Law degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active bar admission or eligibility in Washington, D.C.

Skills

• Experience with NAV financings, subscription financings, or asset-backed financings.
• Background in secured lending and/or derivatives.
• Strong transactional management and client relationship skills.
