Duties

• Represent clients in business and probate litigation, including contract disputes and breach of fiduciary duty claims.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents for litigation sections.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Meet with clients to provide strategic legal advice and maintain communication throughout the litigation process.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and explore alternative dispute resolution options.
• Manage cases from inception to resolution, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation is maintained.
• Stay updated on Georgia litigation practice and court rules to ensure compliance.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in business or probate litigation.
• Active state bar license to practice law.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active state bar license.
