A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its General Commercial Litigation practice in Charleston, South Carolina. The candidate will engage in a variety of commercial and health care litigation matters, taking an active role throughout the case lifecycle. This position offers the chance to work closely with experienced partners and handle a diverse caseload.

Duties

• Manage a diverse range of commercial litigation and health care litigation matters.
• Take depositions and argue motions effectively.
• Conduct thorough legal research, analysis, and writing.
• Travel within South Carolina for depositions, mediations, and other case-related activities.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Admission to the South Carolina Bar and residency in South Carolina.
• Strong judgment, initiative, and organizational skills.
• Ability to take ownership of matters and progress cases with minimal supervision.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
