A law firm seeks an Alcohol Beverage Regulatory Associate in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have over one year of experience in alcohol beverage law and regulatory compliance, handling matters such as state and federal licensing, trade practice restrictions, and mergers involving licensed entities. Experience with other regulated products is advantageous but not mandatory.

Duties

• Manage state and federal licensing, including TTB permits.
• Ensure compliance with the three-tier distribution system.
• Handle trade practice and tied-house restrictions.
• Oversee labeling and formula approvals.
• Draft and review franchise/distribution agreements.
• Support mergers and acquisitions involving licensed entities.
• Advise on general corporate and commercial matters.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in good standing.
• Experience or interest in alcohol beverage regulatory law.
• Familiarity with the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.
• Knowledge of the three-tier system and trade practice rules.
• Ability to work independently and productively.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.

Education
