Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated real estate leasing attorney to join the Real Estate Practice Group in the Phoenix office. The selected candidate will collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex matters including development, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions.

Duties

• Collaborate with experienced real estate attorneys on challenging issues involving development, leasing, and property acquisitions and dispositions.



• Manage leasing and real estate due diligence matters within a collaborative team environment, taking initiative and assuming significant responsibility.



• Deliver usable work-product efficiently by following client-specific direction and demonstrating strong oral and writing skills.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with a significant focus on shopping centers, retail development, restaurant leasing, and mixed-use projects.



• Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, reciprocal easement agreements (REAs), declarations, and other due diligence materials for transactions.



• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases, amendments, license agreements, estoppel certificates, and SNDA agreements.



• Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of location or with the ability to become licensed as soon as possible.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction or eligibility for immediate licensure.

Skills

• Industrial/Warehouse leasing and office leasing experience is welcome.



• Strong ability to take client-specific direction and deliver high-quality work efficiently.



• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong references.
