Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Labor & Employment Associate for its Denver office. The ideal candidate will bring 2-5 years of litigation experience across a broad spectrum of employment matters, including Title VII, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA. This role requires strong writing skills, substantial experience in HR counseling and training, and the ability to practice in federal and state courts as well as before agencies like the EEOC and DOL. The Colorado Bar is required.

Duties

• Represent clients in federal and state court litigation involving employment disputes.



• Advise and counsel clients on human resources matters, compliance, and training.



• Manage cases before the EEOC, DOL, and other federal and state agencies.



• Draft legal briefs, motions, and correspondence with precision and clarity.

Requirements

• Active Colorado Bar membership is required.



• 2-5 years of solid litigation experience in employment law matters.



• Proven experience in HR counseling and training for corporate clients.



• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Colorado.

Skills

• Substantial experience with Title VII, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA litigation.



• Ability to navigate federal and state court procedures effectively.



• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex employment issues.
