Duties

• Collaborate with clients and inventors at all stages of the patent process.
• Prepare and file patent applications.
• Conduct freedom-to-operate and patentability analysis.
• Assist in additional responsibilities or projects as needed.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm setting.
• Admitted to or eligible for admission in Massachusetts, New York, or Washington, DC.
• Admission to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is required.

Education

• A Ph.D. in organic chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
• A JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
