A law firm seeks a motivated Civil Litigation Attorney in Fair Lawn, NJ. Duties

• Manage cases from inception through resolution
• Draft and file complaints and responsive pleadings
• Draft and argue dispositive motions
• Develop litigation strategy in reimbursement and coverage disputes
• Engage in settlement negotiations
• Appear in NJ and/or NY state and federal courts
• Collaborate on complex healthcare litigation matters

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience
• Licensed and in good standing in New Jersey or New York (both preferred)
• Federal court admission (either USDNJ or EDNY/SDNY)
• Experience in healthcare litigation, insurance coverage, or reimbursement disputes preferred
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Ability to manage cases independently

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

• Licensed in New Jersey or New York
