Duties

• Independently manage transportation litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Conduct early case evaluation and develop litigation strategy.
• Draft motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Appear in court and argue motions.
• Communicate directly with clients and claims professionals.
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Prepare matters for trial.
• Collaborate with partners and experienced trial attorneys on significant matters.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Over four years of litigation experience handling transportation matters.
• Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and analytical skills.
• State court experience.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage matters independently.
• Must reside in California.

Education
