A law firm seeks a dedicated attorney to serve as a Pre-Suit focused Attorney in Seaport, New York. The role involves managing pre-litigation work and guiding clients through the case process, with a focus on general liability cases.

Duties

• Handle day-to-day pre-litigation work.
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Draft and file pre-litigation documents.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation.
• Manage the release approval process.
• Lead a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
• Drive compliance and KPIs among the team.
• Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements.

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the NY State Bar Association.
• 1+ years of experience in general liability or personal injury.
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member of the New York State Bar Association.
