A law firm seeks a midlevel associate with over four years of relevant experience to join its Public Company Advisory group in Menlo Park, CA. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day securities law counseling, SEC reporting, and corporate governance matters for a diverse public company client base, ranging from Fortune 500 entities to emerging growth companies.

Duties

• Independently manage daily securities law counseling, SEC reporting, and corporate governance matters for a growing public company client base.



• Advise public companies across diverse industries, including technology, healthcare, real estate, and consumer services, on compliance and disclosure issues.



• Collaborate closely with other members of the Public Company Advisory group to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Requirements

• More than four years of prior relevant experience in securities law, public company compliance, or corporate governance.



• Deep understanding of securities laws and direct experience in public company compliance and corporate governance matters.



• Strong academic credentials and exceptional written, interpersonal, and communication skills.



• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a busy and growing advisory group.

Education

• Law degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills

• Expertise in SEC reporting and securities law compliance.



• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously.



• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
