Professor of Practice

Duties : Will teach and assist in the development of bar readiness related courses and workshops. Teach and assist in the development of academic support related courses to enhance law school performance. Assist in the design and teaching of workshops to improve the academic skills of students. Evaluate and provide written and individual feedback on student work in academic support and bar readiness contexts. Provide individual academic support and bar readiness counseling to students in all stages of their studies, including those struggling academically and those preparing for the bar exam. Serve as an individual support to bar takers, monitor the progress of bar takers, and provide the encouragement and empathy necessary to contribute to successful bar exam passage. Participate along with other faculty members in providing academic advising to all students. Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of student data and bar exam data. Assist in the coordination of efforts and work with other student services departments to address the needs of students. Respond to student concerns in a timely manner and Otherwise support the Director of Academic Success and Bar Readiness, as needed.
