Job Overview

Duties

• Manage a full caseload from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while adhering to strict deadlines.



• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials, providing clients with regular updates and interim status reports.



• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare memoranda to bolster case strategies in collaboration with partners and senior attorneys.

Requirements

• At least one year of prior civil litigation experience, with specific experience in New Hampshire state and federal courts.



• Ability to take and defend fact witness and expert depositions, requiring strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.



• Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions, responding to discovery requests, and performing comprehensive legal research.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New Hampshire State Bar.

Skills

• Strong advocacy skills and the ability to work independently as a self-starter.



• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and courtroom proceedings.



• Ability to devise effective litigation strategies through close collaboration with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys.
