Duties

• Meet with clients to discuss cases, demonstrating empathy and building trust while keeping them informed of claim status.



• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and settlement offers.



• Prepare cases for trial and serve as first or second chair during jury trials as needed.



• Evaluate claims and utilize strong negotiation skills to achieve optimal results.

Requirements

• Must be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing.



• Minimum of two years of litigation experience.



• Experience serving as second chair in jury trials is required; first chair experience is preferred.



• Ability to work independently in an office environment while maintaining a team-oriented approach.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.

Skills

• Superb negotiation and verbal/written communication skills.



• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
