A law firm seeks a mid-level Capital Markets Associate to join their Corporate Practice Group in Chicago, Illinois. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated capital markets transactions, including debt, equity, and equity-linked products, with direct client exposure and mentorship.

Duties

• Handle '33 and '34 Act matters.
• Manage capital markets transactions, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.
• Oversee high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings.
• Conduct private placement offerings.
• Advise on corporate governance and SEC reporting matters.
• Address exchange listing matters.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience advising on capital markets financings and governance/SEC reporting.
• Confidence in managing client relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects under time constraints.
• Admission to the bar in the state of application.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant state.
