Duties

• Manage complex litigation matters including general liability, professional liability, and toxic tort cases.


• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence with superior written and oral communication skills.


• Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment, multitasking effectively while maintaining attention to detail.


• Track billable hours and manage case files using standard legal technology and case management systems.


 

Requirements

• At least 7 years of litigation experience; opportunities exist for those with less experience via separate postings.


• Current and active New Jersey Bar membership in good standing.


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume practice.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and LexisNexis.


 

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.


 

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of New Jersey.


 

Skills

• Superior written and oral communication abilities.


• Familiarity with case/file management systems.


• Ability to track billable hours is strongly preferred.
