A law firm seeks a mid-level Capital Markets Associate to join their Corporate Practice Group in San Francisco, CA. This role involves working on a variety of capital markets products, including debt, equity, and equity-linked transactions, for a diverse client base.

Duties

• Handle '33 and '34 Act matters.
• Manage capital markets, IPOs, follow-on, and other equity offerings.
• Oversee high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings.
• Conduct private placement offerings.
• Advise on corporate governance and SEC reporting matters.
• Manage exchange listing matters.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience advising issuers and underwriters on capital markets financings.
• Experience with ongoing governance and SEC reporting matters.
• Confidence in managing day-to-day client relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate under time pressures while collaborating effectively.
• Admission to the bar in the state of application.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• State Bar Admission.
