A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney in Georgia to join its team, focusing on business and corporate transactional matters. The Associate will manage client legal needs, draft and negotiate agreements, conduct due diligence, and support partners on complex corporate matters.

Duties

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, managing communications and deliverables.
• Independently manage a caseload of business and corporate matters under partner supervision.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice tailored to client objectives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships characterized by responsiveness and trust.
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Conduct legal due diligence and prepare memoranda summarizing findings.
• Assist with structuring transactions and coordinating closing deliverables.
• Support senior attorneys in preparing for client meetings and transaction closings.
• Maintain accurate and timely billable hour records.
• Engage in business development and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Georgia, in good standing.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in business, corporate, or transactional law.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Georgia.
