Duties

• Take and defend depositions, draft and argue dispositive motions, and attend hearings, mediations, and trials.



• Perform comprehensive legal research and provide detailed analysis of relevant case law to support litigation strategies.



• Prepare pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents while maintaining clear communication with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.



• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients, ensuring their interests are protected throughout the litigation process.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing.



• Must have 3-5 years of experience in maritime law, with a strong track record in litigation.



• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
